Sobre Bio Implantes
Bio Implantes was founded in 1993 in Bauru, an important center for dental development in Brazil, known internationally for the presence of USP in the city. Originally called Kunzel Brasil Equipamentos Odontológicos Ltda., the company was created by a group of researchers to bring regenerative solutions to the market, becoming a pioneer in the manufacture of implants. From the beginning, the founders dedicated themselves to research and innovation, being recognized with awards such as the Prêmio Mauá – Sebrae (1988) and the Prêmio Finep de Inovação Tecnológica (2000). However, the company’s growth was hampered by a deficient organizational structure and the absence of profits.
In 2004, the company received an investment from Aurora Ventures, a US venture capital company, through its Brazilian subsidiary, Aurora Health do Brasil Participações Ltda. This investment resulted in a profound restructuring, leading to the creation of Bionnovation Produtos Biomédicos S.A. Over the past 20 years, the company has improved its products and incorporated innovations with excellence, culminating in a spin-off in April 2024, when it assumed the name Bio Health do Brasil LTDA (Bio Implantes).
Today, the company operates in a modern 2,500 m² factory in the interior of São Paulo, dedicated exclusively to the production of dental implants. Located in an industrial district, the unit has state-of-the-art equipment that allows it to achieve the highest quality in its products. Bio Implantes adopts rigorous quality control to meet all legal and good practice requirements, as well as the demands of customers, suppliers, partners and other interested parties, ensuring a commitment to innovation and sustainable growth, led by a highly qualified team.
